Who's this girl
Erin is a creative and accomplished freelance hairstylist who has been in the industry for almost a decade. Her training started in the heartland of Kansas with NAHA Award Winning Eric Fisher Academy, and extensive styling training with Aquage. Finally, progressing to Vidal Sassoon based Trio Salon Chicago in prestigious Gold Coast where she ended her career "behind the chair" and in 2010 moved fully into freelancing full-time!
Priding herself in paying zero for advertising, word of mouth has earned her the job as Lead Hairstylist for Groupon HD in Chicago and various clients like Joan Rivers, CBS, NBC, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art, and Columbia College to name a few. More on the Runways for various designers, and published internationally in magazines such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Indian Weddings Mag and Express. Locally her press includes CS and CS Bride, Chicago Magazine, and Splash.
Erin is a hopeful romantic who gets true joy connecting with brides as an important part of their big day! She is honored to participate in over 50 weddings a year, all over the globe, and her work has been featured multiple times on The Knot, wedding blogs and has been given the "little black book" stamp by Style Me Pretty.
Erin keeps up with current trends in the industry by keeping herself involved in as much continued education as possible. Traveling all over the US to consult with salons and industry professionals to pass on her knowledge is one of her favorite things to do. Which led to her, as of February 2015, becoming a founding artist of the LiSA App. To launch January 2016, Erin is honored to have been hand-picked to be one of 30 artists responsible for changing the way our industry does business. Bringing the only completely open marketplace to the beauty industry and allowing artists the freedom to finally grow is something she is proud to be a part of. (What is this LiSA you speak of? With big dreams and an even bigger heart, all of her hard work is for a cause. A cause that gives back to some of our worlds most devastated areas. Providing real life solutions and help for these areas is what Erin, along with her newly founded non-profit #NICAPASSIONPROJECT and LiSA cares, aim to do. Follow their journey and see how you can be a part of the movement here.
